How we work
The design process in packaging is a lot of fun, but incredibly challenging. There’s a certain sense of pressure that comes with creating something that someone might end up using for years on end, or even see in the grocery store as they make their selections. As a team of creatives, we took time to research our customers, what they wanted to achieve with their products, and how they wanted those products packaged. Through these ideas and conversations, we were able to turn our creative energy into something real and tangible.
Imageine a pack of chewing gum. It has many attributes: it needs to be attractive and visually interesting, durable and functional, have a great design and is healthy. When creating a pack we talk to the customer, go through their taste preferences and then the fun begins…
Brand is more than what we see, touch and feel. It’s a way of looking at the world that allows us to understand it.
We work to uncover the motivations that drive people and brands. The process involves immersing ourselves in your culture, values, and goals so we can understand what moves you. With this foundation of knowledge we develop design solutions that reflect your core vision and make an impact on consumers’ lives every day.
Understand.
Understanding your audience and their needs, identifying the key elements and values of your product or service, and creating an authentic identity that resonates with your customers—all are elements of understanding that help you create a powerful brand.
Experience.
We describe experience in product design as the outcome of a series of detailed steps (iterative, never-ending) that produce a verifiable solution to a problem. This often involves understanding, discovering, and eliminating problems with the “way things are.”
Evolve.
Evolve is a strategic process, we used it in design decision making. It allows us to prototype an idea quickly and cheaply, then refine it based on actual customer feedback. We continuously test new versions of the solution against the goals until we find one that works well enough for customers to buy it.
